INTELLIVENCE APPLIANCE

The Intellivence Appliance suite bundles some or all the Intellivence product line into a plug-and-play pre-installed, pre-configured hardware appliance.   The appliance is designed to function like a hardware device, without the problems and maintenance costs of computer servers.   Software upgrades, maintenance, backups, tuning, etc. are IT resource overheads that require expensive personal or consulting.   These management issues are handled or eliminated by the Appliance hardware.   The appliance creates an "install and forget" management capability.

The key features of the Intellivence Appliance are:

  LCD console - The initial configuration can be done from the LCD console interface. This allows simple plug-and-play operation without having to cable consoles and programming the system in the data center.

  Command Line Interface - The Intellivence Appliance has an Intellivence proprietary CLI management language.   This simple language allows complex system configurations with a few simple commands.   No knowledge of computers or operating systems is necessary for operation.

  Web Management Console - The CLI and LCD management systems are integrated with a Web Application.   Once the appliance has an IP address, all management can be done from a web browser in the comfort of your office.

  Cluster Configuration - The Intellivence Appliance Model 5000 can be configured with two or more appliances in a fault-tolerant load-balanced configuration for mission critical configurations.

  Automated Maintenance - The Intellivence Appliance system features automated maintenance utilities such as backups, monitoring and software upgrades.
