DISTRIBUTED KNOWLEDGE ARCHITECT

The Intellivence Knowledge Architect can be implemented in a distributed configuration, splitting the Knowledge Base across multiple hardware, administration and geological domains.   This configuration allows the Knowledge Architect to scale to any size, or be administered easily by different groups, departments, etc.

In the above diagram, the Knowledge Architect systems are linked both horizontally and vertically.   The "Electronic Components" system may direct traffic virtically to either the "Discrete Component" system, or the "IC Component" depending on user need. As well, some "Discrete Component" information structures may relate horizontally to "IC Component" information, and vice-versa.
