The Intellivence Harvester gathers content to feed the rest of the product suite. The Harvester component is integrated with the Intellivence products: Knowledge Architect, IntelliSearch, IntelliPort and OI² Push.

The key capabilities of the Harvester are:

  Crawlers - The Harvester contains multi-processing, multi-threaded web and file system crawlers to locate content anywhere inside an organization.

  Content Categorization - The Harvester categorization component analyzes unstructured content and works with the Intellivence Knowledge Architect to place links for the content inside the Knowledge Architect taxonomies and other information structures.

  Distributed Deployment - The Harvester product can be linked and distributed to multiple locations within your organization.   This provides additional capabilities for performance and scalability.
