The IntelliSearch product provides a simple to use interface to your users for providing keyword search.   Keyword search is the most common and understood method of locating data on the Internet; most users can use this facility with no training or confusion.

IntelliSearch provides the additional capabilities:

  Immediate deployment.   The search tool requires no taxonomy or other business data structure development.   Simply point the IntelliSearch product at your data and the crawlers will do the rest.

  Integration with the other Intellivence tools.   The IntelliSearch system can be used to initially find a topic and the Intellivence Knowledge Architect can further refine your search.

  Integrates with raw file systems.   In conjuntion with the Intellivence Appliance product line, the IntelliSearch system can mount file systems directly and cascade and search through directories
