OI² PUSH

The Intellivence OI² Push product (Opted In Information Push) proactively delivers information to the user or customer.   The "push" delivery can be specifically defined by the user so that unwanted or irrelivant information is never sent.   The Intellivence OI² Push product integrates directly with the products: Knowledge Architect, IntelliSearch and the IntelliPort.

Users can define the OI² Push object by selecting the information of interest, then saving the "search" or "selection" criteria in their profile.   Addition or modification of information within the Knowledge Architect triggers an immediate event.   Users can specify the parameters of the OI² Push object narrowly and exactly to prevent the system "spamming" users with irrelivant information.

The key capabilities of the Intellivence OI² Push are:

  Push information via Email - You can extend your web presence, Intranet or product catalog to your users mailbox.   New information and content is delivered immediately without the user or customer having to remember or wait to go looking for information.

  Push information via Portal - New information can arrive in an Intellivance Portal or any other vendor's Portal window.

  Push information via Web Services - Push your content as a Web Services (an XML version of an API). This feature allows you to be a proactive Web Services supplier, interacting with other applications on the Intranet or to the whole world on the Internet.
